I started some of these concepts during my demos at the Swinburne open day exploring some configurations. after seeing more snow mobiles after heavy snow showers I could see a definite advantage to a closed in unit.
Hi all welcome to my blog I thought it was time I started one so I can keep you informed of what I'm up to. I will try and post any new sketches, tutorials and art to help inspire my students and anyone else that wants to look. So be inspired to draw things that don't exist........yet

Yesterday I spent the day at Swinburnes Hawthorn campus for open day where I demonstrated all day digital sketching using a Wacom HD tablet with sketchbook and sketchbook designer as well as the use of the Wacom Inkling to prospective students and their parents and was surprised how many students had or were thinking of geting some sort of drawing tablet.

Wheel concept sketch
I did this quickly to demonstrate the use of sketchbook designer and sketch book pro for quick speed concept sketching...After 4-5 minutes I had an idea for a concept using sketchbook designer where I was able to use the symmetry tool to get the spoke spacing correct ...then I exported it as a tif into sketchbook which saved all the layers so I could play with it..... 15 minutes later I have an image I can paste on to a previous image to view the design concept
