I now have my own personal Chinese seal made for me by Zhang
Minghua a master seal stone cutter and my Chinese translation is Wo Bo ni. He
is the Father of one of my very good students from Southeast University- Monash University
joint masters course Zhang Xing.
Zhang
Minghua graduated from China Central Radio & amp TV University in 1988, and was
major in Chinese Linguistics and Literature. He is now a member of Jiangdong
Society of Seal Arts and Jinquan Society of Seal Arts. He
participated in seal cutting classes of Correspondence Department
of Shanghai Youth Daily in 1984, and his works received
a honorable mention.
His works
were selected in the Beauty of Environment of Motherland Fine
arts, Calligraphy, and Seal cutting Exhibition in National
Art Museum of China in 1985.
He has participated
in exhibition of paintings and calligraphy held by Anhui Radio and
TV University in 1986, and won the second prize.
His works
were exhibited in Kurume Friendship Art Museum in Hefei and selected in the
art, calligraphy, and photography works exhibition for the 40th anniversary of
the establishment of Maanshan Iron & amp Steel Co in 1998.From 1984, his works have been published in many newspapers and magazines and He has made
stones for the famous artist Jiang Zhengyi.
