We were very honoured at
Cobalt Design to co win the Premier's Design Award 2015 for ASRC Food Justice Truck, which I was the lead creative designer given the task to visualize the concept. The Award was
presented by Her Excellency the Hon Linda Dessau AM, Governor of Victoria at a
ceremony yesterday evening at Government House in Melbourne. It was an
extremely fulfilling project to be involved with and one which is making a real
difference to people's lives.
It's also a great
example of our Design Thinking process where we combined a diverse range of
user insights to achieve a result that works across all levels
The Food Justice
Truck, an innovative grocery service that has been designed to offer a healthy
and ethical shopping experience for day-to-day consumers and offers a life
changing experience to those in the community who need it most. The system has
been designed to offer a 75% discount on food purchases to people seeking
asylum in Australia.
