Albany Classic poster 2011

This is the Art for the latest albany classic poster and 2 of the previous posters.
The current Albany Classic is one of only two round-the-houses style events still going today. The modern event is as much a festival as serious motorsport but now caters for the whole family and a diverse range of motoring interest. Crowds still line the streets to witness the enthralling sights of vintage and classic cars taking part in the annual motor event. This year, cars covering more than 80 years of motoring development were either competing or on display.

The Albany Classic has withstood the test of time and is the premier round the houses historic regularity event in Australia.

Gerhard was a pioneer in industrial design education in Victoria at RMIT University.Gerard who was a student of the Bauhaus was a master of design he taught me so much about balance and proportions in design, most of which I still use in my own work and pass it on my students today.I will always remember you.

Monaro fullsize drawing

While on the subject of monaros I thought I would post the full size artwork I did for Ian Wongs ZMOOD Exhibition. We no longer have the materials to do a full size airbrush on vellum so I airbrushed one on the Cintiq in sketchbook pro and printed a very large photo print. The result as you can see was just like the real thing.I have included a hand airbrushed rendering of a new monaro GTS.
