Merry Christmas to all my followers sorry I haven't posted much lately, I've been busy in my new position as Lead Creative Concept Designer  for Cobalt Niche Design group. They are a product design Group who have also done a lot of transport design projects, they are responsible for the latest trams running around the streets of Melbourne Australia. This Image was a bit of fun showing that they can tackle any clients challenge

China Creative Design Week Fuzhou 2014

This week I had the honour of being invited to give a design presentation representing Cobalt Niche Design Group on Innovation in Creative Design in my new role as Conceptual Design Manager.
This years Forum combined designnova and was held in Fuzhou China.

State of the Art Wacom Digital Design lab in China Opens

 

The Digital Design Laboratory features 30 Wacom Cintiq 22HD drawing tablets with a dual screen The latest digital design laboratory for industrial design in China was on display this week as the Southeast University-Monash University Joint Graduate School (Suzhou) graduated its first students with double masters degrees. The President of Southeast Univerisity Professor Hong Li and the Vice Chancellor and President of Monash University Professor Ed Byrne visited the Digital Design Laboratory of the Master of Industrial Design program at the Southeast University-Monash University Joint Graduate School (Suzhou) during celebrations

Sketchbook pro Symmetry concept sketch

Work in progress..... thought I would get back into some automotive work and use this directional control to demonstrate  the symmetry tool in sketchbook and also show some wood metal and leather textures ....I will follow this one up with a demo tutorial.
